Fantasia
(1940)
Concept piece of Hyacinth Hippo and Ali Gator This is a beautiful watercolor concept of ballet’s greatest animated couple. Here we see the unlikely pair in the throws of their complicated pas de deux. This piece is a fine example of the creative process that the characters and scenes go through before finally making it to the big screen. Ben Ali Gator’s feather is red in the concept and in the film it is actually blue, and Hyacinth loses her diaphanous headdress all together in the final draft. The artwork measures 9" x 10.5" while the image area measures 8" x 9.25". As is common with this type of artwork, there are pin holes in each extreme corner and in the center along the extreme top edge, all of which exist outside of the image area. The size of the image is 4.5" h x 6" w. US$ 5600 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$1120 a month. WDACS14 |

Donald's Dog Laundry
(1940)
Title card cel and master background of Pluto This is a fun title cel from the 1940 short Donald’s Dog Laundry. Donald spends the better part of the short creating new and inventive ways to get Pluto into the washtub. Clever Pluto however puts up a very good fight and it is Donald who finally ends up getting a good bath! Title cards are very fun pieces to have in a collection as they often provide a good picture of the shenanigans that will take place in the short! The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") US$ 4700 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$940 a month. WDMCS15 |

The Mad Doctor
(1933)
Production drawing of Mickey Mouse and Pluto Not only do we have both characters rendered in full, but we have a slightly different looking Pluto than what we are used to, shown moving full-throttle towards his good Pal Mickey. The line work and shading is excellent and the action lines around the dog-house are a wonderful indication of what's to come. There is the slightest amount of wear along the extreme edges of the corners as well as a tinge of discoloration along the extreme lower left edge and upper right edge. All of this is easily matted out. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") US$ 895 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$179 a month. WDDCS38 |

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
(1937)
Production drawing of the Wicked Witch This is a magnificent drawing of one of the wickedest characters ever to grace the Disney screen. Her eyes are frightening, and her bony, spider like hands embody pure evil, especially with the thorn-like nails. This drawing is shown at an excellent price-point and is a must-have for any serious collector. There is a slight vertical fold in the extreme lower right edge, which measures 5". The paper has had a tinge of color change around the outer edges only which can be easily matted out. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 5.5" h x 6.5" w. Comic strip of Snoopy and Woodstock We are thrilled to offer you this fantastic Peanuts strip featuring both Snoopy and Woodstock. Snoopy is full figured in all four frames and the gag is outstanding, all going towards an excellent strip and what all collectors are looking for in a perfect strip. Snoopy as a character is in his prime in the 1970s, and this is an excellent example of the simplicity and economy of line that Schulz and his Peanuts strip has become so world famous for. The opportunity to own an original artwork like this does not come along everyday, and this is truly the work of an American Master! The strip is dated 4/11/1970 and measures 7.5" x 29".. As visible in the image, there is a small amount of glue residue along the extreme edges. Also, as typical of orignial Peanuts strips, there is a vertical crease between the 2nd and 3rd panels. Out on a Limb
(1950)
Storyboard of Chip the chipmunk and Dale the chipmunk It appears that there is a plan in the works with these two little buddies rendered in a precise manner filled with color, action lines, and two beautiful expressions. This storyboard is rendered in pastel and measures 6" x 8.25". There is evidence of staple holes towards the extremes of each corner, which can be easily matted out. As pinning up storyboards for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work. The size of the image is 4.5" h x 5" w. US$ 595 (unframed). Bambi
(1942)
Concept piece of a chipmunk This adorable little woodland creature is captured here with a hint of surprise as he peers from the safety of leaves and twigs. This is an incredible example of the artistry of Disney as they struck a perfect balance between nature as it existed and the animated form that was not merely a cartoon, but an animated version of animals with expressions and human emotions. The image measures 5.75" x 7". This concept is pasted onto a standard 12-Field animation page. The concept has very slight discoloration along the extreme edges of the piece, while the animation page exhibits some staining in the upper left corner in addition to signs of slight handling. US$ 695 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$139 a month. WDACS13 |

Out on a Limb
(1950)
Storyboard of Chip the chipmunk and Dale the chipmunk Notice the reddish action lines that have them running and turning, and then presumably stopping and freezing as if they were up to absolutely nothing but being sweet angels. This excellent storyboard measures 6" x 8.25". There is evidence of staple holes towards the extremes of each corner, which can be easily matted out. As pinning up storyboards for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work.
